PTC-CSJ Foundation is proud to announce that Muntinlupa’s baseball team, representing the National Capital Region (NCR), has been crowned the 2025 Palarong Pambansa Champion.
The NCR team showcased incredible resilience during the tournament. In a thrilling final, the team overcame a 5-run deficit to defeat Western Visayas with a final score of 8-7. The championship squad featured a strong core of 11 players from Bayanan Elementary School – Main (BESM) in Muntinlupa, joined by standout players from Quezon City, Taguig, and Pasig.
This victory marks a historic milestone as BESM becomes the first public school in the NCR to achieve a championship title in baseball at the elementary level.
The success of the team is a testament to the long-term impact of grassroots sports development. Baseball training is a key component of PTC-CSJ’s Growing Good to Great Kids (3G) Program, implemented in close partnership with the Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation. PTC-CSJ has been a steadfast supporter of BESM’s baseball program since 2011.
A shining example of this program's legacy is the team's current coach, Darlene Dolleton. Coach Dolleton was once a young student-athlete trained through the 3G baseball initiative at BESM. Today, she is a member of the Philippine Women’s Baseball Team, continuing to inspire the next generation of champions.
