On October 28, 2025, the PTC-CSJ Foundation and Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) renewed their strong partnership through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.

Present during the ceremony were PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio and PHILCAMSAT QA and Program Director, C/E Alfredo G. Haboc.

Mapúa MCL was represented by Dr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, President and CEO of the Mapúa Education Group; Engr. Anthony Hilmer S. Medrano, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Engr. This renewed collaboration strengthens the shared commitment of both institutions to SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, empowering future generations through education and global cooperation.

The ceremony was doubly significant as it also welcomed 12 new scholars under the PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Nurturing Future Seafarers (NFS) – Batch 4 Project, witnessed proudly by their parents.

The ceremony also included inspiring testimonials from two NFS – Batch 2 scholars, Justin Caliguia and Melbert Jim Arreo, who graduated Magna cum laude and Cum laude, respectively, from Mapua MCL’s Mapua-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training (Mapua-PTC CMET) in 2023 and are now Third Engineers.
