On September 8, 2026, the PTC-CSJ Foundation in partnership with the RSE Foundation successfully conducted the My Ship My World (MSMW) maritime awareness program for all Grade 6 learners of Itaas and Buli Elementary Schools in Muntinlupa City.
The MSMW Program aims to introduce young students to the exciting world of seafaring while fostering greater appreciation for maritime heritage and future career opportunities in the maritime industry.

The main highlight of the program was the keynote presentation delivered by Chief Engineer Eric Bautista, who shared his personal journey, experiences at sea, and valuable insights about the maritime profession. He also emphasized the important role that maritime professionals play in international trade and the movement of goods around the world.
The students also had the opportunity to ask questions during the interactive Q&A session. Their curiosity opened lively conversations about ships, life onboard, benefits and challenges, and the journey toward becoming a Global Maritime Professional, including the required educational background.
The students learned that they may start their maritime educational preparation early by pursuing a maritime track in senior high school, which is offered locally at Tunasan National High School in Muntinlupa.
My Ship My World reflects the PTC-CSJ Foundation’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young minds and planting the seeds for future maritime careers.
